I want absolutely everything on this site. I think I’ll start with the Snow White, though. It looks like a simple enough pattern for a first sweater, right?

An Explanation.
I imagine that if you don't already understand the title of the blog, you're probably confused and perhaps slightly annoyed, but never fear - I do have a reason (and it's a good one). Having gone to hear Stephanie Pearl McPhee talk at Knitsch, and then having been inspired to blog about knitting, I found myself wondering what to call the blog. I recalled a conversation I had with Mouse and the Chicken Goddess about why it is a Bad Idea to anger knitters - this conversation was following SPM, aka the Yarn Harlot telling the assembled throng about Those Who Do Not Understand Knitting and Therefore Belittle It Much to the Chagrin of Others, or TWDNUKTBMCO, which is not the acronym she used but is the one I'm using because I forgot hers - that is, we are numerous and we all have very pointy sticks, easily transforming into an angry mob.
Therefore, knitters = angry mob. You'd do well not to anger us.

I have the pattern for Matilda Jane and I'm going to be buying the cabled beret pattern very shortly when money allows. I LOVE her designs. She's also got another hat (Urchin) in the newest Knitty.
It was great to meet you the other night at Yarn Harlot. Also.. welcome to the world of knit-blogging.
I think I missed meeting you the other evening in Atlanta...sadness. But you probably met Olivia today at Knitch - since she is my closest friend and I forced her at needlepoint to knit, I do come to town for knitterly goodness as often as possible.
I sat next to Olivia yesterday, yes! She was knitting the teeniest of vests. I'll keep an eye out for you the next time I'm there.
